Zai Yoga A slower kind of strong.

A Slower Kind of Strong

Sunlight filling a calm, plant-filled yoga studio in the morning

We started this studio because the loudest gyms in town were never going to be the right fit for every body, or every day. Zai Yoga is built around a simpler idea: that breath, attention and a little quiet can be just as strong as any workout.

What guides us

  • We teach to the breath first, and the shape of a posture second
  • Every class offers more than one way in, so no body is asked to force a pose
  • We keep class sizes small enough that a teacher can actually see you
  • Rest is treated as part of the practice, not a reward at the end of it

Our space

Large windows fill the main room with morning light, and we have kept the rest simple on purpose: warm wood, soft textiles, a few plants and little else to distract you from your own breath.

Who practices here

Some of our students come for a hard week's antidote; others are building a daily habit, recovering from a more demanding sport, or simply curious about what a slower hour can do. New faces are welcome at any class on the schedule, and your first one is on us.
